Free Ride! Special Meeting Agenda, 1pm Sunday, October 7, 2007 at 7 Beelen St

This meeting was scheduled at the special meeting in August when we discussed coordinator roles (see August 19, 2007 Meeting Minutes). The point of scheduling this meeting was to continue the coordinator role discussion by talking more about using committees.

Calendar:

- Pick location for next week's general meeting (Sun Oct 14, 1 pm)

- Who wants to staff the shop this Saturday? (Mon, Wed, Thu each have 3 people on the calendar, Sat has 0)

Getting started:

- Decide what we're going to talk about today (see below)

- Maybe some time limits for this meeting (repair class at the shop starts at 5)

Things that Will thinks it would make sense to talk about:

- Review what happened at the last special meeting

- Progress on documenting what people do (see Documentation Yee-Haw)

- What, if anything, should be done with the info on the wiki documentation page? Who will do it?

- To what extent have people been forming and using committees? How are they working?

- To what extent do people still feel stuck or in need of some help doing their role?

- Where do we stand on formal process stuff:

   + Respecting term limits

   + Unelected de facto coordinators (scribe for example)

   + Tracking volunteer hours for Collective Council membership

   + Are we ready to redo the Words to include committees?

- What, if anything, are we going to do about finishing and approving the Words
