Report back

Program coordinator:

    Deligated programs to others.

    Paychecks are getting easier.

Inreach:

    Proding people

“No one is doing their tasks” wiki page full of tasks

What are the tasks?  A: things that are decided to be done at meetings, etc.

Outreach:

City high physics class: super excellent

June 2nd two outreach things: 1 bike blender for trail clean up.

2: clean and green festival in Wilkinsburgh.

    Earn a bike outreach

        Ywca Homewood

One big barrier doesn’t want to pay for it.

Andalusia is LEAVING on May 24th We must find a temporary substitute.

Someone needs to answer FR voicemail every time that FR is open

Jessica is empowered to take this on and perhaps sharing with Scott

Scribe: comments from Stuart type up when discussion is not organized

Finance: met with Kitty Friday sent out a financial corner.  No bad news, cash register transition is smooth.  No sales tax, will start in July.

Question: what should we do about change A: for now we won’t count it and then make a one time log of change.

Commision to scott was a problem on the cash.

Andalusia: what about the cash box discision?

Elija: did youth works checks come in?

Add up the hours give them to shaun at the same time as the kids or else it will be complicated.

CJ liason:

Bruce is complaining that sinks are clogged with vegetable soup

    Sinks suck

Shop Sink?  300-450$ to get a sink installed.

    No update on the lease

    See the CJ meeting minutes

Andalusia: a window is broken and we needed to communicate that to CJ so if you notice something like that contact CJ immediately.  Andalusia will post a phone list.

Volunteer coordianator:

Only Andy signed up for the volunteering day.

Suggest that you resend it and send it to the big list and email list of other organizations.

Jess: has anyone gone through the earn-a-bike binder find new emails and update the email list.

Johny: shop hasn’t been able to direct the volunteers to a meaningful tasks.

Andalusia: we agreed to talk about the shop 20 min each meeting and we haven’t scheduled that.

Scott used to nag volunteers to obtain peripheral volunteers.  Johny will not hold hands.

Jess: don’t play chicken with having to staff.

    Andalusia:

Shaun: assess dynamic of motivation for staffing

Johny: has issues about nagging people

Shop coordinator: big order came in.  Requests that better reports about missing, broken, etc. items.  When is welding night?  Erok: I don’t know.

Overflow tools in yellow cardboard box.

Wiki Discussion:

    Shaun: another wiki works well

Proposal: shaun is empowered to spruce up the wiki visually voted adopted.

The rise-up crabgrass software is almost ready

Andalusia: where do documents go when you upload them?  Its on the help page.

Utility sink: check in: is it ok to spend 200$ on the utility sink?  No blocks some ambivalence.

Is it possible to use the buy back clause in the CJ lease?

    No their lease isn’t official

Possible that utility sink could be installed by a new volunteer/plumber using urinal plumbing

Should make sure sink is up to code or else buy back will not buy it back

Proposal: we make a counter proposal to deb using our plumber friend and the urinal plumbing, and we’ll have rubber mats to avoid slipping. Voted. adopted.

Bike Fest discussion:

Its coming up again june 28th- July 9th.  It didn’t make FR crazy busy.  Should we have a party there?  Does anyone want to do anything for Bike Fest?

Is there a BF committee to liason with Deb?  Stuart says yes.

Next Friday is Bike Pittsburgh 5 year anniversary.  Party and everyones invited!!

Jess: Randy is ok with teaching a wheel building class, Erok will follow up on this.

Staffing discussion:

Morgan Saturdays are completely swamped.  We need to discuss either larger amounts of staffing or less people in the shop.
