here's some things we would like to hash out at the meeting on February 10, 2008: 

Committee Report Backs!

 - each committee will come prepared to report on what they've been doing for the past couple of months. Committees are also responsible for providing a plan for what they will be working on for the next three months. The idea is to do this quarterly from now on.

• Outreach/media - website update and reworking
• Inreach - The retreat, of course.

(will) Discussion/proposal for clearing junk we don't need out of the shop to make more space for things we do need

Preparing for Steel City Biofuels move-in/build out:

• we need to get in touch with Nathan of SCB to discuss his plans, specifically:
  • enrty/egress for our respective spaces
  • get a sense of what SCB will build/where they'll be/their hours/etc.
  • any other preliminary issues

     

Also, we need to decide how we'll communicate with Nahan/SCB, specifically WHO will contact him?  Can it be fairly informal or do we want a liason type of person?

(jessica) Revisit sexual harrassment issues.

(morgan) PROPOSAL: That we do not table with/give shelf space to those Port Athority "Rack and Roll" flyers. Rack and Roll is unreliable to the point that it reflects badly on us to promote it. Fuckers.

(morgan) PROPOSAL: That we create a small Sheldon Brown Memorial Scholarship for anyone who wants to take an adult mechanics class but can't afford it. Testing to see if folks are into the idea and are ok empowering me to work out the details.
