Coordinator Report Backs

Calendar:

- Status of preparations for CJ's event on Saturday, September 15?

- Shop will be closed on Saturday, August 11 (the weekend of Bike!Bike!).

CJ liason:

- Pick a new liason

- Figure out how the transition will work

- Status of sink?

Signs:

- Review the Shop Signs wiki page

- If necessary, approve money for materials to make and hang the signs

Shop Capacity:

-just how many folk can we cram into the shop

 -results of experiments in imposing limits.

Theft (and vandalism) epidemic:

-how do we stop bikes from getting stolen

- Somebody thrashed the Solar Decathalon's model house that was out in the front entry room. It may have happened during open shop on Thursday, Aug 2.

Safety

- The file cabinet of pedals apparently fell over recently when somebody opened the top drawer all the way. Luckily nobody was hurt.

- This should be fixable by strapping the cabinet to the table behind it that all the tubes are on. We might have the stuff laying around to do it (sheet metal screws, wood screws, some kind of metal strap or flexible bracket), otherwise $10 at Home Depot should take care of it.

Scheduling a time to revisit coodinatorship roles & words discussion

- After BikeBike is over we should revisit these issues

- Some folks are travelling, right? When is a good time to schedule doing this?
